What is gov/acc?

A research initiative exploring how we can accelerate governance innovation in web3. While the ecosystem has experimented with novel governance structures like DAOs, many implementations fall short — plagued by voter apathy, token plutocracy, governance theater, and institutional amnesia. We set out to understand these problems systematically and map the solution landscape.

Methodology

We conducted 27 structured interviews using Harmonica, an AI-facilitated deliberation platform. Each 20-minute session explored participants' experience with governance problems, proposed solutions, and the actors building them. The structured format ensures consistent coverage while allowing organic deep-dives.
